Product credits and use-by dates
A Single Manuscript purchase provides one Manuscript credit. Each standalone Message Extender™ or Complete Cover Creation purchase provides one credit for that selected product type. Unused standalone credits may be used for one year from purchase. Monthly issues 1 Manuscript, 1 Message Extender™, and 1 Complete Cover credit after each successful payment. Annual issues 12 Manuscripts, 12 Message Extenders™, and 12 Complete Covers immediately. While a membership is active, unused credits may accumulate for up to 12 months from issuance. When either membership ends, future grants stop and unused membership credits already granted remain usable for one year from the final paid membership day.
Three qualifying 14-day upgrade paths
Single Manuscript → Monthly: standard Monthly price $247; qualifying Manuscript credit $167; amount due $80.
Single Manuscript → Annual: standard Annual price $1,347; qualifying Manuscript credit $167; amount due $1,180.
Initial Monthly → Annual: standard Annual price $1,347; qualifying first Monthly payment $247; amount due $1,100.
Eligibility lasts 14 calendar days from the qualifying purchase/start timestamp. A qualifying purchase may be used once, cannot be reused or stacked, and expires automatically. After expiration, normal membership pricing applies.
Converted entitlements are counted, not duplicated
A qualifying Single Manuscript entitlement counts toward the upgraded membership allowance. Single → Monthly does not create a second Manuscript entitlement. Single → Annual does not create a thirteenth Manuscript entitlement. Initial Monthly → Annual counts the first 1/1/1 entitlement toward Annual 12/12/12 and does not create 13/13/13. If a qualifying credit was already used, that use still counts and is not replaced.
Standalone purchases remain additive
Standalone Message Extender™ and Complete Cover Creation purchases do not reduce Monthly or Annual membership pricing. Their purchased credits remain valid and are additive when a customer later joins a membership. One standalone Extender plus Annual results in 12 Manuscripts, 13 Extenders, and 12 Covers. Two standalone Covers plus Annual results in 12 Manuscripts, 12 Extenders, and 14 Covers.
Studio access
An unused credit has a use-by date; purchasing it does not start Studio access. After a valid credit use, Studio access for that work continues for 90 days from the use date. Monthly access follows successfully paid subscription periods and approved paid-through cancellation rules. Annual provides 12 months of membership access. Access grants remain independent; the governing Studio-access date is the latest valid entitlement end date, and unrelated access periods do not cumulatively stack.
Refund and cancellation interaction
The upgrade credit is a pricing adjustment, not cash value, and cannot be separately redeemed or refunded. A refunded, reversed, charged-back, or invalidated upgrade may reverse the associated entitlement conversion. A prior qualifying purchase does not become a reusable upgrade credit after conversion.
